Biography

Mrs. Hedrick, or Señora Hedrick, has been teaching at Hauser since 2018.  She has her Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) from Purdue University and a Master's of Science (Marine Aquaculture) from Auburn University.  She grew up locally on a farm in Flat Rock, Indiana.  She worked for the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program in Mobile, AL, where she piloted an oyster gardening and aquaculture program for the state of Alabama for nearly 10 years.  She then worked for the Division of Coastal Management in North Carolina for 10 years.  She returned to Flat Rock in 2014 and loves teaching Spanish and STEM at Hauser.
