Mission and Vision Statement

HAUSER JR. - SR. HIGH SCHOOL
VISION AND MISSTION STATEMENTS

As part of our school improvement process, the staff, students, and representatives of the community revise the school vision and mission statements every three years. The vision statement is a description of what our ideal school community would look like and how it would function. The mission statement is a goal statement of what we will be doing to move toward that vision.

VISION STATEMENT

Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School is an exemplary model of a rural school. Students here receive an intentional, rigorous education through courses taught as part of an articulated curriculum by teachers who are experts in instruction, technology, assessment, and character development. They also experience a variety of opportunities that enrich and complement their academic training through fine arts, practical arts, athletics, and vocational pursuits. While the Hauser school community holds students to a high level of accountability, it also provides significant support and guidance to allow students to develop those characteristics that allow them to perform optimally. These students are able, through this preparation, to compete successfully for positions and distinctions with others while still keeping their sense responsibility as citizens of a community.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School is to be an exemplary rural high school in Indiana that provides its each of its students with the opportunity for a comprehensive education that allows him or her to be healthy citizens, life-long learners, and contributing members in a global community.
