Mrs. Siebert began teaching at Hauser during the 1985-1986 school year. Under her direction, in 1990, Hauser became one of the first small high schools in Indiana to offer dual credit in calculus. Today, she teaches four dual-credit math courses. Mrs. Siebert earned her high school diploma at Batesville High School, undergraduate degree at Ball State University, and master's degree from Indiana University. She has served as the chair of the math department since 1986. Mrs. Siebert received the Edna Folger Award and the I.U. Armstrong Educator Award in 1998 and has been recognized three times as the Flat Rock-Hawcreek Teacher of the Year. In 2000, she received an Indiana State University Outstanding Teacher Award; in 2005, she was recognized as an Indianapolis Star Academic All-Star Teacher, and in 2010, she was named a Ball State University Teachers College Outstanding Alumnus.

Mrs. Siebert married her husband David in 1985. They have two daughters, Jennifer and Michelle, who are both Hauser graduates.
